What does it feel like when you take that first breath of air in the winter? the summer? the spring? the fall? Can you imagine it? Crisp. Warm. Fresh. Cool.
Do you remember your favorite activity or game outside? My most vivid memory of outside play was in the middle of winter. It was sunny day, but the snow was piled high in the backyard. The patio benches had white, soft, almost melting snow all over them. I had on those mittens that didn't seem to get wet and snow pants that made my legs feel far apart. I decided to play "Restaurant". I filled containers with snow and cooked up a storm! I put out place settings and served my imaginary customers until I was called inside. I remember the feeling of peeling off the wet snow clothes and climbing up the stairs to a warm hot chocolate waiting on the table. I sat and told my mom all about my Restaurant and how it took so long to cook all the snow food. Cool air, warm drinks & adult connection. What else can Fresh air offer?
